Woman hospitalized following North Miami Beach shooting
NORTH MIAMI BEACH — A woman was hospitalized following a Sunday morning shooting in North Miami Beach.
According to North Miami Beach Police, officers are investigating a shooting that occurred in the area of NE 167th Street and NE 20th Street.
Earlier in the day, police asked people to avoid the area of NE 167th Street through NE 171st Street between NE 20th Avenue and NE 21st Avenue. The scene has since cleared.
NMBPD told CBS News Miami that a woman was found with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was transported to a nearby hospital. She is currently in stable condition.
