Hialeah Dentist Shot Outside Her Office

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - A Hialeah dentist had to be airlifted to the hospital on Tuesday morning after she was shot outside of her office.
The shooting happened around 10 a.m. at 850 East 41st Street.
People in the area reported hearing several gunshots.
Pablo Sanchez, who identified himself as the victim's husband, says her name is Carmen Ramirez.
She was apparently walking down the steps from her office when she was struck.
Hialeah Police say her condition is stable.
Investigators say, at this point, they do not believe this was a robbery. They also do not believe it was a random act of violence.
