Police investigate Miramar shooting
MIAMI - Police are investigating a shooting in Miramar.
Police said the victim was shot in the area of the 2600 block of SW 66th Terrace. The condition of the victim is not known.
The victim, after being shot, crashed his car in the 6200 block of Miramar Pkwy and was then taken as a trauma alert to an area hospital.
Police said the suspected shooter is a known offender.
Witnesses say a woman drove the victim toward a hospital on Miramar Parkway.
A witness named Tony saw her car run a red light, and hit another car and an SUV.
"She came out saying that someone inside her car was shot and she was taking him to the hospital."
"I saw him injured. Looks like he got shot in the neck and he was on the ground."
Detectives are still looking for the suspect.
Police say the victim is stable, recovering and knows the shooter.
No additional information had been made available.
