Man Shoots, Kills Girfriend, Wounds Friend, Turns Gun On Himself In Miami-Dade

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - An early-morning murder-suicide in northwest Miami-Dade County is being investigated by Miami-Dade police.
Police spokesman Detective Alvaro Zabaleta said the shooting took place just after 6 a.m. Sunday in the area of Northwest 17th Avenue and Northwest 71st Street.
Shane Danielle Tompkins, 41, and Delande Rock, 41, were talking when Nathaniel Benjamin Mincey, 32, confronted them, police said.
Authorities said Mincey shot Tompkins, wounded Rock and then turned the gun on himself.
Tomkins and Mincey had been boyfriend and girlfriend, police said.
