Police: Bodies Identified In Greenacres Murder Suicide

GREENACRES (CBSMiami) – Police have identified the four bodies found shot at a Greenacres home, and they believed it stemmed from a murder suicide.
According to Greenacres police, 53-year-old Nilda Sheffield shot and killed her 30-year-old daughter Elizabeth Flores and her two young grandchildren, ages 2 and 7, before turning the gun on herself.
The bodies were found on Saturday when a friend, who hadn't heard from the family in a while, went to check on them. That friend called police to the home at 4661 Chariot Circle.
Tiffany Hise and Richard Head live five doors down. They said the people who lived here were quiet and kept to themselves.
"No, I'm not (surprised). Not that I know of anything that's happened like that here before. But the quality of individuals that live here it's not surprising," said Hise.
"I mean, unfortunately lives were lost and that's a terrible thing," said Head.
Friends of the victims told CBS4 they did not want to speak on camera out of respect. But they stood watch for hours waiting for any news from police.
Greenacres police said there is no motive at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
