Person On Scooter Injured In Hit & Run Accident

MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) - Miami Beach police are investigating a hit and run accident involving a man on a scooter.
Just before 7 a.m. the police received a call about a man possibly having a seizure at 14th Street and Michigan Avenue. When officers arrived they found a man who had been hit while driving a scooter. The man was taken to the Ryder Trauma Center, he was in critical condition.
After the crash, the vehicle fled north on Alton Road. Police have not released a description of it or its driver.
