Pembroke Pines PD Seeking Information About Suspicious Incident
PEMBROKE PINES (CBSMiami) – Police in Pembroke Pines are looking into a suspicious incident that took place near the Brittany Bay subdivision of the Silver Lakes community last Saturday.
According to police, the older sister of a 14-year-old girl reported the incident Wednesday.
Police said the girl claims a man in an older model tan pick-up truck asked her girl to "get to know him."
The girl told police he motioned toward the passenger seat of the truck. The girl reportedly pretended to make a cell phone call and ran to meet her friends.
A sketch of a possible subject was released Thursday.
Police are asking for anyone that may have had a similar incident to contact Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS.
