ORLANDO (CBSMiami) -- Orlando is coming to a screeching halt as theme parks are closed and a curfew is in effect.
City officials and residents are bracing for hurricane conditions as Matthew approaches along the east coast in the overnight hours.
The region has seen heavy off-and-on downpours, including up to eight inches of rain in some parts, as well as flooding.
Conditions are expected to worsen overnight.
