BOYNTON BEACH (CBSMiami) -- Boynton Beach Police made good on a promise to continue the fight against drug dealers in the city.
"Following a month-long investigation, police arrested 11 suspected drug dealers who sold heroin and cocaine to undercover officers and confidential informants," officials said in a statement that added four other arrests on possession charges and resisting arrest. "The investigation stemmed from the recent rise of heroin overdoses citywide. Narcotics agents conducted 'buys' from the suspects, who were then taken into custody and arrested."
Two search warrants at two residences resulted in the seizure of large amounts of heroin, cocaine and marijuana, as well as thousands of dollars in cash.
