One Dead In Fiery Crash On Killian Parkway

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - One person was killed in a fiery crash in Southwest Miami-Dade.
The overnight crash happened on the Killian Parkway at 97th Court, just south of the Don Shula Expressway.
On impact, the car caught on fire with one person trapped inside.
When Miami-Dade Fire Rescue arrived, it was too late.
Friends of the person who died said she was a 17-year-old girl.
The Florida Highway Patrol originally said they were investigating the crash as a possible hit and run. They now say it looks like a single vehicle crash and the car hit a tree. They added that the person who died was in the passenger seat and they were trying to locate the driver.
