One Dead After Crash Involving A Semi-Truck

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) -- Fort Lauderdale Police blocked off parts of State Road 84 on Tuesday after a semi-truck and what was believed to be a scooter crashed.
Just after 9 a.m., police were asking drivers to avoid the area of State Road 84 at SW 15th Avenue.
That's where a Budweiser semi-truck and a person riding what may be a scooter crashed.
Chopper4 was over over the scene as police and Fort Lauderdale fire crews and police investigated.
A yellow tarp could be seen covering a body right next to the semi-truck.
Police said the person operating the scooter died after the crash.
