Next Miss Universe To Be Crowned In South Florida
MIAMI (CBSMiami) - The Miss Universe pageant is coming to South Florida.
Donald Trump, owner of the Miss Universe Organization, is bringing the 2015 pageant to Florida International University, according to CBS4 news partner The Miami Herald. The campus will host the event on January 25th.
The City of Doral will host pageant related events, like the coronation ball. The city has committed half a million dollars in taxpayer funds for the event and Doral Mayor Luigi Boria has promised another $2 million from private donors.
