MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Big news for Netflix subscribers, you can now download videos directly to your device to watch later at no extra cost.

Netflix announced the new service Wednesday.

In addition to streaming on Netflix, users will now be able to download some content to their devices to watch later without an internet connection.

Users will find the new service great for planes, trains, or even in the car.

In a release, Netflix says you just click the download button on the details page for a movie or TV series and you can watch it later without the internet connection.

The new feature is included in all plans and available for phones and tablets on Android and iOS.
