Narcotics Investigation Underway In Davie
MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- CBS4 cameras rolled as Davie Police served a search warrant at a home in Southwest Ranches on Thursday night as part of a major narcotics investigation.
Davie Police would not release many details only saying this was part of a multi-agency operation and that the investigation was "ongoing."
CBS4 cameras captured three people in handcuffs, detained outside the home. One of them gave our cameras the finger. It was unclear if anyone had been arrested.
Crime scene investigators were on scene to take pictures and possibly recover evidence but it was unclear if anything was removed from the home.
Longtime residents of this quiet community tell us that for years this house has been the scene of problems with the law.
"It should probably be taken down and rebuilt so somebody can start clean," said neighbor Leigh Wessel. "That would be my suggestion."
