Mom in downtown Miami high-rise thankful gunfire didn't hit her toddler daughter
MIAMI - A family in a downtown Miami, high-rise condo is left with questions after a bullet stroke a 45th-floor window just inches from a baby's high chair.
If we lived in Chicago or another city and did not have hurricane windows, I'm 100 percent sure it would've broken it," said Vivian Olodun, "and they would've shot the chair. And I hope only the chair. My kids had just gotten up from having dinner.
Police say no one was hurt. But the family said it was a terrifying moment.
Despite the incident, residents say they still consider the downtown Miami and Brickell area to be safe.
City of Miami police are seeking leads to find out who shot the round.
