2 young children, their father located after Miami police asked for public's help to find them
MIAMI -- The Miami Police Department said two young children who were initially reported missing were with their father and no foul play is suspected. .
Investigators said Iyad Awayssa, 47, were with the children Naima, 3, and Siraj, 4.
The children's mother reported the kids as missing although she knew they would be traveling with their father, police said in a statement.
Detectives were trying to determine what led her to file the report with police.
