Miami Dolphins Playoff Odds Are Sinking

The likelihood of a Miami Dolphins (1-2) postseason is shriveling after a Week 3 walloping by the Buffalo Bills.

After coming into the game with a 20-percent chance at the postseason with an expected win total of 7.5, per Football Outsiders, their current playoff odds sit on the ocean floor at 3.8 percent. Only three teams have lower odds in the 49ers (2.9%), Browns (2.6%), and Bears (0.4%).

The only team absorbing a bigger one-week fall is the New York Jets (-20.1%), Miami's opponent in London this Sunday.

Miami's Expected Wins also dropped to 5.7.

Of course this doesn't mean the Dolphins can't turn their season around and make the playoffs for the first time since 2008, it's just the early probability of doing so is futile.
