Miami-Dade commissioners talk incinerator location, impact
MIAMI — Miami-Dade commissioners approved a report and study on potential locations for a new incinerator.
Mayors from the cities possibly impacted were also at the meeting.
The mayor of Miramar spoke in clear opposition to the project being built near his city.
Mayor Wayne Messam as well as the mayor of Doral are threatening legal action if they're chosen.
Commissioners will choose a spot in September.
