MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) -- The city of Miami Beach announced a settlement in connection to a Memorial Day weekend police involved shooting in 2011.
Raymond Herisse who police said was driving erratically died after 12 officers fired at his vehicle more than a hundred times amid a holiday weekend crowd.
Herisse's family and three other bystanders injured in the shooting filed a lawsuit.
City officials said Tuesday the terms of the settlement agreement call for the city to pay the bystanders, which in total is 4, about $200,000.
The settlement comes a year after prosecutors previously found officers were legally justified for firing their weapons at Herisse's vehicle.
Following the shooting, Miami Beach Police changed their policy.
