Mannix: 'Golden Opportunity' for Hawks to Take Out Cavs
Can the Atlanta Hawks defeat the banged up Cavs and send LeBron James packing earlier than expected?
Sports Illustrated's Chris Mannix thinks they've got a "real chance."
"I think this is a golden opportunity for the Hawks to take this series," Mannix said on the Joe Rose Show on 560 WQAM. "Game 1 is gonna be such a tone-setter for this team.
"I think this series goes six, seven games and I think the Hawks have a real chance to win it."
Meanwhile the Miami Heat are participating in their first NBA Draft Lottery in seven years tonight when the ping pong balls get unleashed. If they land at No. 10 as expected, Mannix thinks the Heat shouldn't "even consider trading the 10th pick for a veteran player."
