Man Kills Girlfriend, Calls In To Report Crime

FT. LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – The Broward Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide near Fort Lauderdale after a man called claiming he killed his girlfriend.
It happened Sunday morning at the Rashelle Hotel located at 825 N.W. 27 Ave.
Deputies said they apprehended 52-year-old Reginald Kindle near the hotel.
According to police, Kindle said he killed his girlfriend after the two had an argument.
He reportedly tried to kill himself but ended up reporting his actions to BSO instead.
Police have not yet identified the woman.
