Man Dies After Lauderhill McDonald's Shooting

LAUDERHILL (CBSMiami) – A man shot at a Lauderhill McDonald's on Friday has died as police search for the gunman.

On Saturday, Lauderhill Police said 21-year old Javaris  Domineck died due to injuries sustained in the shooting, causing the investigation to be labeled as a homicide.

Meantime, police are searching for the man they say is responsible for shooting Domineck during an argument at the restaurant located at 5510  W.  Oakland  Park  Boulevard around 7 p.m.

Patrons said Domineck was involved in some sort of argument with a man that escalated. The argument ended with the gunman shooting Domineck at least once.

Rescue crews rushed Domineck to Broward Health Medical Center where he died.

Now, officers said they are looking for a black man with short hair who was wearing a grey hoodie sweatshirt and camouflage shorts at the time of the shooting.
