Man Accuses Pouncey Twins Of Assaulting Him At Nightclub

MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) -- A South Florida man with a big social media following is using his Twitter and Instagram accounts to make accusations against Miami Dolphins player Mike Pouncey and Pouncey's twin brother.

Self-proclaimed "media personality" Ricky Vasquez posted online that the twin football players jumped him at a South Beach night club.

"I just got jumped by 4 bouncers and the Pouncey twins at Cameo. I'm going to press charges. My face is swollen," Vasquez wrote.

Over the phone, Vasquez told CBS4's Maggie Newland he had just arrived at the club when people started bothering him.

"I just remember asking them not to touch me anymore and then I got hit or beat up as I was drug out of the club by security or bouncers," said Vasquez.

In a video he posted on Instagram early Saturday morning, Vasquez is seen looking around with tears streaming down his face and his face looking swollen.

A flier posted online shows Cameo held a birthday party for Mike Pouncey and his brother Maurkice who plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Vasquez said he did not realize the party was for them and did not recognize either of the  Pouncey Brothers.  It was only after he was allegedly roughed up that Vasquez says he was told by others that the players were involved.

"When the police got there, someone mentioned to me they were the Pouncey brothers or twins or whatever, I didn't know until after the actual event, but I had already called police and said I had gotten beat up," said Vasquez.

Another woman posted a photo of a knot on her forehead on Instagram and said she was punched in the face during the same alleged incident.

Miami Beach Police said they did respond to Cameo for reports of an assault about 4:20 saturday morning.

Police said "There was some type of altercation that occurred inside of the nightclub. At this time we have not confirmed or identified the Pouncey brothers as being involved..."

CBS4 News reached out to the Dolphins, the Steelers, and Cameo for comment.  None had responded as of Saturday night.
