Man Accused Of Robbing Elderly Couple
NORTH LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) -- Two people are facing charges tonight of knocking down an elderly man and stealing a chain from off his neck, the Broward Sheriff's Office says. Investigators tell CBS 4 News that a third person is still on the loose.

The victim, Louie, he declined to give his last name, said he and his wife were leaving a North Lauderdale dentist's office back in May when two men suddenly grabbed a $1,300 chain from off his neck.
"They grabbed my chain, boom and pushed me into the hedges," Louie said. "I miss my chain. Boy, I miss my chain."
Louie, 77 at the time of the incident, went down and had trouble getting up.
"I tried to get up and run but I got chicken legs," Louie said.
The Broward Sheriff's Office says surveillance video captured the thieves running away. BSO says one of the men is James Siffrain. The other man -- investigators are still looking for him. BSO says Myesha Brown was the getaway driver. At a bond court hearing Friday, Judge John Hurley said the violent episode convinced him to give Siffrain a steep bond.
"You and your codefendant basically ambushed two people and one an older person," Louie said.
Louie said someone made the gold chain with a black onyx piece for him years ago and it contains strong sentimental value. Investigators say they've been unable to recover it. Louie though realizes his life is worth much more than a piece of jewelry.
"It could have been worse," Louie said. "It could have been a lot worse. I could have been shot. I'm lucky I'm still here."
Siffrain is being held on more than 17-thousand dollars bond. Brown is being held on 15-thousand dollars bond at a jail in Pompano Beach. BSO is looking for a third person in connection with this crime. If you know anything contact Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS.
