SOUTH MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Teacher Vivian Gonzalez said she was overwhelmed, but when Hillary, Dave and Charles with Lady Antebellum walked into her classroom at South Miami K-8 she knew what was going to happen next.

Vivian's husband said Alfred Figueroa entered her in the contest that's part of the kickoff of their new album "747".
Out of 1,200 applicants, she was one of the seven picked.
Figueroa said, "She's dedicated so much of her career in teaching kids in helping them not just to learn music but to be better individual." The band picked the final winners.
"Music's often the first thing to go at schools and Vivian's done a great job to keep it at the forefront and does such a great job with her classroom," said Dave Haywood with Lady Antebellum.
Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott added, "There's something special about nurturing the arts and your brain retains other subjects.
"I know for us the first thing we would do was go to that instrument so it might keep you out of trouble," said Charles Kelley with Lady Antebellum.
Along with the surprise visit, Gonzalez, her husband and two kids get to go to the Lady Antebellum concert in New York Tuesday night.
Sophia Figueroa, Gonzalez's daughter said her mom was picked, "Because she's the best teacher in the Universe." Her daughter Isabella said, "I thought, 'oh my God', what is happening. On top of everything, the class got great new instruments, some even signed.
For Gonzalez, the whole thing is still a whirlwind.
"It's very startling today, I dont' know if I'm thinking clearly," Gonzalez said.
