Large water main break floods Kendall streets
MIAMI - A large water main break impacted homes Tuesday afternoon in SW Miami-Dade.
It happened in the Kendall area of Southwest 97th Street and 117th Avenue.
Water was spewing up from the ground creating a mess.
The break was later capped in the afternoon, while municipal workers cleaned up the mess.
The water has since receded.
Miami-Dade Water and Sewer says a third-party contractor struck the 16-inch water main.
No word on whether there are any water advisories for those who live in the area.
