Lane Shift And Ramp Opening Near FLL

HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) – Drivers will notice a shift in traffic for anyone going northbound on US 1 near Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
The shift takes place November 15, at approximately 1AM.
In addition, the airport entrance ramp from US 1 northbound will open to traffic.
This shift is part of the final traffic alignment for US 1 in conjunction with the South Runway Project.
Currently, US 1 northbound and southbound share one cell of the multi-cell structure that carries the new South Runway and taxiway over US 1.
