Kennedy: Wade Realizes He Doesn't Have Much Leverage
Have no fear, Miami Heat fans. The possibility of Dwyane Wade leaving may not be as strong as some have reported.
"I think that he's going to stay in Miami, it's just a matter of figuring out the numbers," Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders said on the Big O Show. "He wants to end his career there. Miami wants to keep him. This is a marriage that they want to work.
"He realizes he doesn't have much [leverage]. He's not the star player he used to be where a team is gonna give him a max contract and say let's build around Dwyane Wade."
