MIAMI (CBSMiami/NSF) - With a new poll showing the presidential race in a dead heat in Florida, the campaigns of Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump continue a steady stream of events aimed at rallying voters.

Anne Holton, wife of Democratic vice-presidential nominee Tim Kaine, will campaign Monday in Fort Myers and Tuesday in Palm Beach County, according to the Clinton campaign. The details of the events were not immediately released.

Holton, whose husband is a U.S. senator from Virginia, is a former Virginia secretary of education.

Meanwhile, Trump will appear at 7 p.m. Friday at the Pensacola Bay Center in Escambia County.

Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, also campaigned in the state this week. A Quinnipiac University poll released Thursday showed Clinton and Trump tied in the critical swing state.

The News Service of Florida contributed to this report.
