MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Derek Jeter is wasting no time cleaning house.
According to the Miami Herald, the Marlins prospective owner had David Samson fire four special assistants.
"Mr. Marlin" Jeff Conine and Tony Perez, who were both ambassadors during for the All Star Game, are out.
World Series manager Jack McKeon as well as Andre Dawson also got the boot.
All of this is happening before league owners could vote to approve the sale of the ball club.
