Jennings: 'God Just Put Me in New York'
A year after the Raiders chose not to re-sign Rashad Jennings, the current Giants running back now has an interesting way of looking at it.
"My true opinion about it: I don't think Oakland let me go," Jennings said on WQAM's Big O Show, "I really think God just put me in New York."
Religion aside, Jennings thinks the running back position is more important than people think.
"You look at every team that's successful, and they always have a horse in the backfield. Somebody that can bang and carry the load ... You're not going to win without a successful running back."
