TALLAHASSEE (CBSMiami) – Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush unveiled a web video and a new logo that reads "Jeb 2016" on Sunday – a day before his big announcement at Miami Dade College.

"America's best days are in front of us, and we are going to lead the world," Bush said in his new web video. "So many people could do so much better if we fixed a few things."

Jeb 2016 signs have been placed throughout the Miami Dade College campus, but all eyes will be on Building G's Theodore R. Gibson Health Center. There, after months of speculation, Bush is expected to make his bid for the White House official.

"What we need is new leadership," he continues in the video.

According to staffers, "Making a Difference" will play ahead of the announcement.

The video highlights the impact Bush had on the lives of countless Floridians as governor of Florida.

"I think Governor Bush changed a lot of lives in Florida. I am very grateful that he was our Governor," said Kim Donatelle of Sarasota.

But with nearly a dozen Republicans running for president, how will Bush stand out from a crowd field of candidates?

He addressed the question during an interview that aired on CNN.

"How many people are running? Last count, there's double digits. That's a very competitive field. It will take time. It always does. People make up their minds in the last weeks of these primaries, so my expectation is we'll have slow, steady progress. That's been the expectation all along," he said.

Something else he spoke about was the challenges of paving his own path and becoming known as Jeb and not just another Bush.

"Well, Jeb is different than George. And Jeb is who he is. My life story's different. And I got to do that when I ran as governor. And I got to share it – share my passion for service when I was governor an telling that story is going to be part of this. I don't have to disassociate myself from my family.  I love them. But, I know that I'm on – for me to be successful I'm going to have to show my heart and tell my story," he said.
