Hurricanes Pick Up Another Comeback Win At ACC Tournament

DURHAM (CBSMiami/AP) — The Miami Hurricanes continue to roll in the Atlantic Coast Conference baseball tournament.
Brandon Lopez singled home the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning and Miami rallied to beat Notre Dame 6-5 on Saturday at the ACC Tournament.
The second-seeded Hurricanes (44-14) led 4-3 entering the ninth and gave up two runs to the third-seeded Fighting Irish before coming back to win.
Christopher Barr led off the ninth with a homer off reliever Brad Bass that tied it for Miami. Zack Collins walked, advanced to second when David Thompson was hit by a pitch and moved to third on Garrett Kennedy's single.
Lopez followed with his one-out single to right-center field that scored Collins with the winning run.
Ryan Bull tied it at 4 in the top of the ninth for Notre Dame (36-20), and Robert Youngdahl's RBI single gave the Fighting Irish a short-lived 5-4 lead.
