Hurricanes Move Into Top 10 In NCAA Basketball Rankings

CORAL GABLES (CBSMiami) – The Miami Hurricanes men's basketball team has been one of the best in the tough Atlantic Coast Conference.

Following the Canes win over Florida State on Saturday, they improved to 13-1 on the young season with the only loss coming on a buzzer-beater against Northeastern in late November.

On Monday the latest NCAA basketball rankings were released and the Hurricanes have once again moved up.

The Canes are ranked No. 8 in the AP Top 25 Poll and No. 9 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.

It's the first time since the 2012-13 season that Miami is ranked in the top 10 and only the third season ever that they have been that high.
