Horace Grant on Jimmy Butler: 'The Total Package'
While the Cavs and Bulls trade punches in what has become an entertaining playoff series, former Bulls forward Horace Grant joined 560 WQAM's Marc Hochman Show with Zach Krantz.
He's extremely high on Bulls wing Jimmy Butler, who is averaging 21.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.6 steals in the series.
"I love that young man," Grant said. "Love, love, love. I love how competitive he is, hard nosed, and plays both ends of the floor, scoring and stopping their best player. And that position right now is very, very rare. Hopefully Chicago will definitely keep that young man on their roster for many, many, many years to come because he is the total package."
When Hochman and Krantz informed their guest they have been rooting for Chicago, Horace didn't see an issue with it.
"I see red and I see black, baby."
Fun fact: Grant was voted to the NBA's All-Defensive second team four times in a row from 1993-1996.
