Homestead police officer faces domestic battery charges

MIAMI - A Homestead police officer is facing criminal charges.

Officer Diego Quiroga has been charged with domestic battery in connection with an incident back in January.

The police department says he's been placed on administrative leave and they're taking the investigation seriously.
