Hollywood Shooting Victim Dies, Suspect Identified

HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) – Hollywood police said the man who was shot a home in Hollywood Sunday has died.

The shooting happened just before 3 p.m. Sunday at 2650 Grant Street.

He is a 60-year-old man named David Teitelbaum from Pembroke Pines.

According to officers, Teitelbaum was visiting the residence.

The victim was taken to the hospital and underwent surgery, but later died.

Residents at the location where the shooting victim was found are cooperating with police and police said a shooter has been identified as 39-year-old James Welker.
