Hialeah Bank Evacuated Following Nearby Gas Leak
HIALEAH (CBSMiami) – A Chase bank in Hialeah has been evacuated following a gas leak in the neighborhood.
There is construction taking place in the area of West 49th Street and 4th Avenue.
It's believed crews struck a gas line causing the leak.
The nearby Chase bank was evacuated due to the overwhelming odor of gas.
City gas officials are working to cap the leak.
No injuries have been reported.
