South Florida is off to a dry start but thunderstorms return in the afternoon
MIAMI - We saw heavy rain Tuesday, and even had a severe thunderstorm develop across the Miami area. Wednesday, it's a similar setup.
We will be dryer through the morning hours. But a front to the north of us will slowing bringing showers and storms south, back to the Miami area.
It will be hot and humid before that happens. Settle in for another steamy afternoon.
We will continue with the chance of showers and storms through Thursday and into Friday, with most of the activity focused inland.
