"Hair-Brained" Burglars Steal Pricey Weaves From Beauty Shop

DEERFIELD BEACH (CBSMiami) -- It was a bad hair day for employees at a Deerfield Beach beauty store after burglars made off with thousands of dollars worth of hair weaves.
Two men were seen on camera outside the Number 1 Beauty Supply at 819 W. Sample Road, at about 5 a.m. on August 8th. The thieves used a window punch to smash through the glass front door. Once inside, they took 50 Brazilian hair weaves valued at $3,000.
Detectives say the crooks were careful to not touch the cash registers or anything else from the store. And while they tried to hide their identity with T-shirts wrapped around their faces, a clear shot of one of them was captured by security video minutes before the break-in.
The suspects drove off in a white, late model, four-door car, possibly a Lexus.
