Giancarlo Stanton Gets Goofy Visitors In Marlins Clubhouse

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Giancarlo Stanton hasn't gotten his season off to as good of a start as many have come to expect.

The Marlins $325 million dollar man is hitting .238 with three home runs and 10 RBI's through 42 at bats.

Stanton isn't a stranger to slow starts to the season, which is why nobody in or around the Marlins clubhouse is concerned.

That hasn't stopped some of Stanton's teammates from keeping the mood light and festive around their cleanup hitter.

Following the Marlins pregame workout on Tuesday, Dee Gordon and Justin Bour decided to make an appearance while the media was speaking to Stanton in the team's clubhouse.

Wearing funny masks, Gordon and Bour danced around behind Stanton as he answered questions before he finally noticed what was happening.

All got a good laugh, and it was just another example of how this team is staying loose despite its 4-7 record.
