Gas Leak Prompts Plaza, Lane Closures In Miami-Dade

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Rescue crews cleared a Miami-Dade Plaza Monday morning after a gas leak.

Miami Fire crews were spotted in front of Main Street Plaza located at 18400 NW 2nd Avenue around 11 a.m.

All employees and bystanders were cleared from the plaza and asked to stay up to 1,000 feet away.

Authorities have closed down traffic heading North and South on 2nd Avenue. They're asking drivers to avoid the area and try to find another route.
