Gallant On Panthers Record: "Considering All The Injuries, I'll Take It"

Head coach of the Florida Panthers, Gerard Gallant joined the Joe Rose Show on 560 WQAM to discuss handling Jaromir Jagr's minutes and his recent injury issues. Gallant also says that he expected plenty of goals from Jonathan Marchessault before the season started, developing younger players from juniors/college/minors, and previewed the upcoming home games against San Jose and the Islanders.

On Monday's win over Tampa- "It was huge the other night; Tampa Bay is a huge rival. You hate to get below the .500 mark. We found a way to get two huge points and it was really key for us."

On the Panthers start to the season- "Right now we have a little bit of injuries here and there. It's part of our job as coaches, it's challenging. Overall it is working out pretty good for us, we're 13 games in and we're .500. I wish we were better than that, but considering all injuries I'll take it."
