Fort Lauderdale Police Investigating Deadly Shooting At Park

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – Fort Lauderdale police are on the scene of deadly shooting near a park where young kids are known to play football.
The shooting happened in the parking lot of the Mills Pond Park at 2201 NW 9 Ave.
Police said one man was shot and taken to the hospital, where he later died.
It's unclear if anyone was at the park at the time of the shooting. A lot of pee-wee football games are played in this particular park.
