Fort Lauderdale Officer Heading To Bank Robbery Injured In Crash

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - A Fort Lauderdale police officer was taken to the hospital following a crash.
It happened in the 4800 block of Federal Highway.
Fort Lauderdale police said the officer was responding to a robbery at the Tropical Financial bank branch just a few blocks away when the officer's cruiser collided with another car.
There is no word on if the other driver was hurt.
