Fort Lauderdale Man Picking Fruit Electrocuted

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - A man was killed in what appears to be an accidental electrocution at a Fort Lauderdale home.
It happened Tuesday in the 2900 block of SW 13th Street.
Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue said the man was picking fruit from a tree when a device he was using came in contact with a power line, killing him.
The man's family was inside at the time of the accident.
Investigators said it's a reminder of how dangerous powerlines can be.
