Fort Lauderdale Airport Closes Runway Due To Issue With Small Plane

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – A runway has been closed at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
Chopper4 was over the scene late Wednesday afternoon.
A small plane had some trouble while landing and it was seen stopped on the north runway.
Authorities say that two of the aircraft's tires blew out upon landing.
The airport has temporarily closed the runway because of the issue.
According to FLL, they have to tow the plane away.
The issue will certainly be causing flight delays, though officials expect them to be minor.
They hope for things to be running back to normal soon.
