Since 1995, the Campbell Foundation in Fort Lauderdale has helped discover better treatments for people with HIV, and funds research towards a cure for HIV.
And the need is certainly there: Miami-Dade ranks number one, and Broward County ranks number two nationwide, in the number of new AIDS cases.
Testing is key to controlling the spread of the virus, and this coming week is National HIV Testing Week.
We focus on the work of the Campbell Foundation, and the importance of HIV testing.
