Focus On South Florida: Blechman Foundation
As our thoughts turn to Mother's Day next week, and what we can do to show "Mom" how we feel, siblings David and Melissa Blechman are honoring their mother each and every day, and they are doing so in a way they hope is saving lives. Their mother Nancy was diagnosed in 2012 with Parkinson's Disease, Each year about 60-thousand people are diagnosed with it. Parkinson's robs people of muscle control, it is progressive, and there is no known cure. We focus on the Blechman, created by David & Melissa, to spread awareness of the disease and to raise funds to find a cure. Click on the above image to watch the interview.
