Florio: There's Nobody 'Clamoring for' Hard Knocks
Hard Knocks provides annual behind-the-scenes coverage of an NFL team during training camp, but Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio says teams aren't all that interested in volunteering their franchise for HBO's original series.
"I think it ultimately came down to just the Texans," Florio said on the Joe Rose Show. "I don't think there was anyone else clamoring for this it this year."
"The irony here is three years ago when the Dolphins did it and the Texans played the Dolphins early in the regular season, remember what J.J. Watt said? He said he picked up the snap count from watching Hard Knocks so now somebody's gonna pick up the Texans' snap count from watching Hard Knocks."
